The Series' Gazing Beast Is Scarier Than Ever in This Week's Chapter

Throughout the latest installment of the hit series, conflicts reach a breaking point as Sydney Chandler's character faces her brother Joe regarding his unexpected actions. Avoiding giving away major details, it's clear that Wendy is livid—and with good reason.

A Reckless Choice

At the same time, the show's most mysterious organism—referred to as t. ocellus or Species 64—is transferred from a high-tech lab enclosure into a portable tube within the personal space of the eccentric leader Boy Kavalier. Many fans are asking themselves what may go wrong with such a irresponsible move.

"What did you do?!" Wendy yells, utterly disbelieving.

Stealing the Spotlight

Despite t. ocellus has minimal presence in "this installment", it continues to steal the attention whenever it is shown. Chaos unfolds across the island as a hostile being prowls freely, targeting whatever in its path.

At the same time, the Hybrids—together as The Lost Boys—become utterly cut off after their location beacons are turned off. One character, Nibs, struggles with her identity, saying quietly, "I don't think I am here these days..."

Brilliance and Threat

Within Kavalier's office, the ocular being demonstrates its remarkable mental capacity. When Kavalier scribbles the first few digits of pi—3.14—on his palm, he challenges the creature to give the next digits.

Answering, the monster taps out the right numbers before relieving itself on the floor. What seems like a scene of humor quickly shifts into something unnerving as the creature proceeds vocalizing angrily.

Surprisingly, Kavalier's stoic assistant, Atom, expresses his worries about the situation. "Boss, I must repeat my reservations," he says. "If this creature somehow escape and embed itself within the human population—"

A Disturbing Experiment

Instead of taking the warning, Kavalier interprets it as a idea and states that he intends to find a person to "feed" to t. ocellus.

"You're right, we should… yes, we should move it into a person," Kavalier says. "An individual who speaks and uses a toilet."

Even though the chapter doesn't reveal who Kavalier has in consideration for this disturbing experiment, a lot of fans are wondering that the CEO himself might be the candidate. After all, people is dying to discover what the being has to express.

A key point is clear: the series continues to offer excitement, fear, and shocking developments with every installment.
